PRICES
The prices advertised in our lists are for booking lasting one week, they cover all the normal running costs, such as water, electricity, gas, swimming-pool cleaning materials, garden upkeep… in some cases, linen in provided including an extra charge, except when the client promises to deposit it to a laundry, paying the charge before leaving.
Our prices include fees and taxes. Are not included: telephone* costs and line rentals, and booking cancellation insurance . In off-peak season, heating is never included (neither the heating of the swimming pool).


START DAYS AND LENGTH OF STAYS
Holidays begin and end on Fridays (villas) Saturdays (apartments). Arrival times: between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Departure times between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.




DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTIES

In spite of these precautions, if your accommodation rental fails to live up to its advertised description "ab-villa" cannot be held responsible for a fault committed by the owner (covering up, oversight, hidden defaults,…). Similarly, "ab-villa", being a middleman, is no way liable for alterations affecting the rented property or its surroundings or availability if it has not been informed of them by the owner before the booking date and the arrival at the holiday accommodation.

NUMBER OF PERSONS USING THE ACCOMMODATION
If you exceed the maximum number of persons stated for your holiday accommodation, you risk being refused acces to the property on arrival or having to pay an additional charge justly asked by the owner.

VILLAS WITH SWIMMING-POOL
For properties offered with a private swimming pool, please note that, in general, it can be used between June 1st and September 30th. For a holiday let, starting in May, an extra charge can be asked for putting the swimming pool into service.


CANCELLATION

/ Insurance


All cancellations must be made by recorded delivery letter. The date this letter is received determines the size of cancellation fees, calculated according to the following scale of charge. This scale of charge doesn't apply in the various cases of cancellation planned by the cancellation insurance (water damage, fire, furniture damage…) -we do not offer any insurance so you have to contact a company of your own choice.

2/ Penalty for cancellation

  • More than 45 days before your holidays start : 30% of the full holiday rental.

  • Between 15 and 45 days before your holidays start : 50% of the full holiday rental.

  • 15 days or less before your holidays start : 100% of the full holiday rental.



COMPLAINS
If you wish to complain about the material quality of your holiday accommodation, you must first inform the local agency or the owner by phone within 24 hours after your arrival; it will be followed by a recorded delivery letter sent within 3 days after your arrival. We can help and be middleman with the property owner.
In case of dispute, only the 1st administrative district of Girona (costa Brava) law court will take the case.
